Willamette Sailing Club
Willamette Sailing Club (WSC) has been the center for small boat sailing in Portland since 1961. Located 5 minutes South of downtown Portland on the banks of the Willamette River, the club hosts a busy year-round schedule of racing, cruising, and learn-to-sail programs, as well as a number of river-related social and educational events.
Each summer, more than 800 kids and adults learn sailing, water safety, and river adventuring skills from WSC’s staff of US Sailing certified instructors. WSC also serves as headquarters for local youth, high school, and college sailing teams, providing young sailors with boats, coaching, and a base on the river. These programs are currently putting 75 youths, representing more than 20 Portland-area schools and colleges, year-round, on the water three to five days a week.

Our 800-slip marina is idyllic for both recreational boaters and commercial fishermen alike. There is guest moorage available year round, as well as a back in launch, two small boat hoists and two fuel docks. Additionally, the Port of Ilwaco has a 50-ton travelift, a self/full service work yard and dry boat storage facilities.
Portland Yacht Club – Portland Yacht Club is Oregon’s oldest yacht club was founded in 1908 as the Willamette Motor Boat Club, and remains today as the premier club in the greater Portland area. Located on NE Marine Drive on the banks of the Columbia River, the club offers open moorage for sailboats, boathouses for powerboats, and open docks for both. The moorage facilities include private fuel dock and pump-out station. Club members have access to the Willow Bar Outstation located 12 miles downstream on Sauvie Island. The Clubhouse facilities include the outdoor patio, main bar, grand ballroom and adjacent dining room with food and beverage service offered six days a week. In addition, the club’s frequent activities include a full range of events, many of which are family oriented.
Teutonic Wine Company
Barnaby Tuttle likes to push boundaries and challenge himself all the time. This is apparent with his winemaking and Teutonic Wine Company. Who else would blend Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir and make a delicious chill-able red? Barnaby did something to challenge himself beyond something he has never done before. He was on a race team that participated in the Pacific Northwest Offshore Race from Ilwaco, Washington to Victoria, Canada! Their boat was a 1964 Cal 34 sloop named "Soufflé."
The 2022 Offshore White Wine is dedicated to the sailors who dare to take on difficult challenges, learn from it, and then do it again. Make sure you read the back label when you drink this wine, Barnaby speaks from the heart.
